Credit Card Privacy

This site utilized 40-bit SSL encryption technology to ensure your privacy on-line. Once your order is submitted through our secured web site, all information pertaining to your credit or check card number is separated from your order and sent securely direct to VeriSign's Merchant Services for processing. California Candids receives an "Authorization Code," which simply references a successful transaction. At no point does any individual other than yourself see or have access to your credit card information. Neither your credit card number, nor any part of it, is stored or retained by California Candids. On that note, our representatives are not able to reference any order by using a credit card number.

Use of your IP Address:

Your IP address is not used by California Candids or by www.calcandids.com for any reason. No identifying or aggregate information is collected from your IP address.

Use of cookies:

Cookies are not used to register our visitors, nor does this site access, read, or look for cookies placed on your computer by other sites.

Use of your e-mail address:

Your e-mail address is retained for the purposes of resolving problems or issues that may arise from your order. Unsolicited e-mails are sent only to notify you of important information related to your photography order, such as when photographs are available on-line and when your order has been shipped. Under no circumstances will your e-mail address be sold, shared or distributed to any party, organization, or group outside of California Candids.

Use of your telephone number:

Similar to your e-mail address, your telephone number may also be used for resolving problem or issues that may arise from your order. Your telephone number will never be used by California Candids for solicitation purposes. Under no circumstances will your telephone number be sold, shared or distributed to any party, organization, or group outside of California Candids.

Use of your mailing address:

Your mailing address is used only to mail your photographs, as well as the products from any order you place. Under no circumstances will your mailing address be sold, shared or distributed to any party, organization, or group outside of California Candids.

California Candids Ordering Policies

Credit or Check Card Charges

Once your photography order is submitted on-line, your credit card is first authorized for the amount of the sale. Within one business day, your order will be reviewed and then sent into production. The funds from your credit or check card are not actually captured until your order enters production. California Candids accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

Production Time

Once your order enters production, your photographs are usually mailed within one to two days (excluding Sundays and major United States holidays). During certain times of the year, however, this time may fluctuate for a variety of reasons. Even at times of peak demand, production times should not exceed three days unless your orders requires special attention such as unique coloring, cropping, touch-up work, etc.

After placing an order, your email receipt will contain up-to-date information regarding our production times. If you believe there may be a problem with your order, please call our office at (858) 541-0502.

Shipping Information

Unless alternate arrangements are made, all photography orders are shipped from our lab in Oklahoma City, OK via USPS first class mail. Please allow an adequate amount of time for your order to arrive.

Orders may also be shipped via DHL Express Overnight. For more information on this service, please call our office at (858) 541-0502. Note that DHL order can not be shipped to a post office box.

Address verification software is used to ensure your mailing address is in compliance with USPS guidelines and is a valid mailing address. Addresses that cannot be verified will be returned to our office for additional handling.

If your order arrives damaged, or you believe you order has been lost in the mail, please call our office at (858) 541-0502.

Return and Refund Information

Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please call our office at (858) 541-0502. If the problem can not be fixed, we'll give you a complete refund for the cost of your purchase. (Please note that refunds for a credit or check card purchase must be credited to the card used when the order was placed.)
